About the Role

A New Opportunity for Strategic Support

Due to internal movement, a permanent position has become available as a Team Assistant supporting the People & Safety Leadership Team (PSLT). As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level administration and strategic support, maintaining team cohesion, improving productivity, and fostering a well-organized work environment. Your expertise will enable smooth People & Safety operations by managing schedules, coordinating communication, and optimizing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diaries, prioritize meetings, screen calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Use initiative to prioritize meetings and make decisions regarding invitations.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels, prepare briefs, papers, and correspondence, and support the PSLT.
  • Undertake projects, develop annual strategic agenda items, and manage minor projects and programs of work.
  • Book travel for the PSLT and others as directed.
  • Monitor, reconcile, report, and approve expenses for the PSLT and broader P&S division.
  • Adhere to, monitor, and drive continual improvement to corporate initiatives, safety processes, and policies.

About You

You will be an experienced Executive or Team Assistant with a proven track record in supporting senior leadership teams. Your discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential in handling sensitive information. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in a similar role supporting a leadership team.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Polished, dynamic communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills across Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
