Support Worker Role

At Uniting, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Companion to join our team. As a Support Worker, you'll provide care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, empowering their independence and improving their quality of life in the Tamworth area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care, including hygiene, toileting, showering, and dressing
  • Accompany clients on outings and assist with Healthy Living for Seniors activities
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping trips

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Experience providing client-centred care
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
