The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Automotive Technician to join our North Shore Ford Service Centre in Artarmon. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles and develop your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine Servicing and Repairs

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine servicing and repairs on customer vehicles, as well as our own fleet and equipment. This will involve diagnosing and addressing mechanical issues effectively, and completing job cards and client-specific paperwork with precision.

Defect Repairs and Documentation

You will also be responsible for executing defect repairs across a variety of vehicles, and documenting repairs, servicing, and identified defects. This will involve maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.

Workplace Safety and Compliance

As a member of our team, you will be expected to uphold safe working conditions and comply with established work health and safety standards. This will involve following procedures and protocols, and reporting any safety concerns or incidents.

Requirements for the Role

  • Australian residency.
  • Light vehicle mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Valid Australian driver's license.
  • Ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
