Secondary Science Leadership Position Available

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Secondary Science Teacher. This is a full-time role involving teaching Years 7–12, with potential for departmental leadership responsibilities.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Science lessons aligned with the Queensland Curriculum, fostering strong relationships with students and families through open communication, and contributing to a supportive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cater to diverse student needs.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive school environment.

  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.

  • Participate in school events, professional development opportunities, and community activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching Science at the secondary level (Years 7–12).

  • Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • A commitment to Christian values and whole-child development.

  • Adaptability, energy, and a reflective approach to teaching and learning.
