Clinical Operations Manager

About the Role
As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily clinical operations of our care home, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of care plans.
Duties
- Provide strategic leadership to the care home clinical team, promoting collaboration and open communication.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and mentoring to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Analyse data on clinical incidents, complaints, and changes to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ACFI assessments and related legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans for residents, incorporating input from families, carers, and allied health professionals.
- Conduct clinical governance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our care delivery processes.
- Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with allied health professionals, medical practitioners, and other service providers to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Requirements
- A current AHPRA registration is essential for this role.
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification is also required.
- Postgraduate qualifications in aged care are highly regarded but not essential.
- A minimum of 30 years' experience managing care homes is preferred.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality clinical care within an aged care setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and care planning capabilities.
- Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
