Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Factory Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including packing and loading customer goods, operating a forklift, and performing assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packing and loading customer goods for pick up
  • Unloading goods on trucks
  • Operating a Forklift
  • Assembly Operations
  • Removing parts from laser cut sheets
  • Unloading of parts from machines
  • Grinding, sanding and linishing of laser cut metal components
  • Tapping, nutserting and studding of components
  • General housekeeping of work areas
  • Assist with folding and fabrication duties
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by Production Supervisor.
Requirements
  • A current Australian Forklift licence is essential
  • Reliable work ethic
  • Have a high attention to detail and ensure the quality of their work
  • Hardworking and physically fit
  • Good hand / eye coordination skills
  • Safety conscious and ability to work in a busy environment
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Hand and power tools
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Willing to work weekend overtime
