Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Parramatta. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for occupational therapy with junior therapists, while also contributing to the growth and development of our clients living with a disability.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake comprehensive assessments of daily living capabilities and provide evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior therapists, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Collaborate with an expert Senior OT to deliver high-quality services and achieve exceptional outcomes for clients.
- Develop and implement home modification recommendations and prescribe equipment and assistive technologies to support clients in maintaining their independence.
- Liaise with families and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide treatment, guidance, and education to individuals and their carers, promoting a client-centered approach to care.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
- Passion for facilitating meaningful outcomes for people with disability and their families
- Desire to work with and support junior therapists
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Current driver's license and car
- Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these)
- Some clinical Occupational Therapy and NDIS experience
- Generous salary in the region of $100 – $120K Base + Super, dependant on experience
