We are seeking applications from experienced Engineering Surveyors to join our Survey Team on the North East Link Central Package. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale infrastructure project, developing your skills across a range of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with construction and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient survey setout.
- Perform quality checks during construction to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Record accurate as-builts of work as executed, maintaining a high level of detail and precision.
- Produce survey reports and plans, utilizing modern survey hardware and software systems.
- Maintain survey data, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the project.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and performing to a high standard, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
- Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of machinery guidance systems, ensuring seamless integration with project workflows.
- Maintain the tunnel control updated according with the Tunnel excavation progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Follow Senior Surveyors instructions and procedures in order to carry on with appropriated control and tunnel traversing routines.
- Supervise and encourage the compliance with all HSE procedures during the survey jobs from the Survey staff.
- A diploma or degree in surveying/engineering, with a strong foundation in tunneling surveying principles.
- 2+ years' experience in SEM tunneling surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Proficient with modern survey hardware and software systems, including machinery guidance systems.
- Attention to detail and a desire to do it right, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Laser scanner knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
- Long-term work on a large-scale infrastructure project, with opportunities to develop your skills and expertise.
