The role of a Storeperson involves receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a warehouse setting. This position requires the individual to work efficiently, accurately, and safely within the warehouse environment.
- Loading and unloading trucks with ease, adhering to safety procedures
- Receiving and storing goods, ensuring correct quantities and locations
- Liaising with suppliers as required for smooth operations
- Picking and dispatching goods, including packing and labeling
- Site deliveries and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse space
- Proven knowledge and experience in warehousing operations
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and accuracy
- Experience with barcode scanning systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical fitness to lift 10-15 kg loads with minimal strain
- Adopting a proactive and positive attitude towards tasks and team collaboration
