Job Summary:

The Neurosurgical Research Professional plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of neurosurgical research. This part-time position is an integral part of a team that provides strategic oversight and access to all aspects of research and projects within Neurosurgery under the direction of a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon.

About the Role:

This role reports directly to the Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon and is responsible for supporting all aspects of research in FMC Neurosurgery and Spinal projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, hospital executives, and staff
  • Influencing and monitoring the expansion of research projects across broad clinical fields
  • Undertaking key responsibilities or activities as directed by the Manager/Project Lead
  • Coordinating and maintaining administrative support relating to research and trials

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification relevant to Clinical Research and postgraduate qualification in Medical and Health sciences field
  • Experience in interpreting legislation and guidelines, developing, and implementing strategies that accelerate clinical trial activities
