We are seeking a skilled and experienced journalist to join our team in Sydney.

  • As a key member of our digital newsroom, you will be responsible for sourcing, writing and producing high-quality journalism that engages our audience of millions.
  • You will work closely with our news director, editors and team of journalists to cover national and global breaking news, from on-scene reporting to working in the office.
  • With a focus on creating original content, you will use video and analytics to inform your story choices and pitch unique content that drives conversation and engagement across multiple platforms.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • A successful news reporter with at least three years' experience in a busy digital newsroom.
  • Strong writing skills and an understanding of how to use headlines and pictures to hook readers.
  • Sound working knowledge of legal principles and comfortable working independently to source your own stories.
