Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mobile applications using the latest technologies.

This role involves evaluating new technologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and providing feedback to improve our platform architecture. You will also lead technical assessments for vendor solutions, manage integrations, and drive continuous improvements by identifying gaps in tooling and processes.

To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in mobile application development, proficiency in relevant programming languages, and a strong understanding of design patterns and integration practices.

  • Evaluate and introduce new mobile technologies through research and proof of concepts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align platform requirements and provide feedback on improving ways of working.
  • Lead technical assessment for vendor solutions and manage integration into the mobile platform.
  • Drive continuous improvements by identifying gaps in tooling, process, and developer workflows and provide solutions for improvements.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to connect with engineers, managers, product managers, and customers.


Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Extensive experience in mobile application development using React Native.
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages such as Swift/Objective-C, TypeScript.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and demonstrate hands-on understanding.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, integration practices, data modeling principles, and best practices.
