Job Title: HSE Advisor

Quickway Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to support our team in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Train employees in occupational health and safety procedures and monitor workplace conditions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with certified standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the integrated HSEQ Management System.
  • Support the senior management team in championing a safety environment and promoting a positive attitude towards safety and environment within the business.
Tasks and Duties:
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct periodic audits at sites to verify compliance with certified standards.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct inspections at project sites to check for compliance with requirements.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining various registers, including incidents, hazardous substances, and corrective actions.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, including ICAM facilitation, and recommend actions to reduce the risk of recurrence.
  • Reporting: Assist in maintaining lead and lag indicator reporting.
Requirements:
  • Holds relevant qualifications.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Trained in Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM).
  • Trained in drug and alcohol testing.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office.
