Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Underwriter. This role is responsible for assisting the Construction team in delivering high-quality client service.

The primary purpose of this role is to empower employees to own the policy and support the Underwriter end-to-end, ensuring seamless communication with brokers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with brokers to assist and coordinate placements, handle accounting or policies queries, and work with underwriters to prepare quotes on new business and renewal submissions.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is issued directly to brokers within the set service level agreement.
  • Process management and customer service including reviewing new business submissions, cross-selling opportunities, and decision-making based on Chubb's appetite and underwriting review.
  • Liaise with brokers on coverage and pricing inquiries, and communicate with internal departments for credit control, claims, and risk information.
  • Coordinate placements, quote and bind endorsements, and reconcile aged finance items.
