Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
- Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
- Medication Management: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
- Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
- Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
