Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team in Banyo.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and have a high level of schooling, excellent English skills, and solid communication skills.

They must demonstrate previous experience in warehousing with excellent leadership skills and the potential for growth into a senior warehouse role.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who can think quickly on their feet, show initiative, be reliable, and use their time effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Picking and Packing Orders: Accurate and timely picking and packing of orders
• Receiving and unpacking containers
• Processing of stock transfers & branch allocations
• Receiving, checking, and putting away incoming stock
• Consolidation and maintenance of stock levels
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults
• Maintaining warehouse in a neat and clean order
• Inventory Management: Participating in stock take
• Ensuring high-level customer service is maintained
• Learning all facets of systems and procedures in warehouse including computer systems

Requirements:

• Forklift license
• Previous proven experience with leadership potential
• A can-do attitude that can find solutions to problems
• A team player that leads by example
• Ability to handle pressure and make sound decisions
• Physical fitness and ability to lift parcels
