Electrical Controls Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for electrical design, installation, and automation.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of electrical systems, including control systems, safety principles, and PLC programming. They will be responsible for designing, documenting, testing, and commissioning materials handling automation hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical control systems for automated material handling equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical controls with mechanical and software systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, circuit diagrams, and operating manuals
  • Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve electrical control issues
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design, installation, and automation
  • Strong understanding of AS3000 and AS4024.1 standards
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens S7 preferred)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
