LVI Associates, a national leader in engineering and environmental solutions, is seeking a Senior Civil Waste Engineer to join their team in Sydney. As an employee-owned company, they lead in areas such as water, waste, transport, natural resource management, buildings, public works, and land development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, site investigations, and approvals for new and existing landfills.
  • Design landfill cells and capping.
  • Provide support for tenders, including document preparation and assessment.
  • Offer construction support and ensure quality assurance.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies for waste infrastructure.
  • Serve as a client contact for selected projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Participate in team-building activities and foster a culture of trust, excellence, and care.
Requirements:
  • A qualified environmental or civil engineer with significant experience in waste management and landfill engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of state-specific environmental guidelines, including those for Victoria, NSW, SA, and QLD.
  • Experience working with councils and major waste service providers on infrastructure design, along with an understanding of operational challenges.
