Corporate Affairs Specialist - A Key Role in Government Relations and Communications

This full-time Corporate Affairs Specialist role is ideal for an experienced communications professional looking to make a significant impact while supporting our Government & Corporate Relations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance our organisation's reputation and social licence to operate.
  • Support government relations, prepare materials for key stakeholders, and provide strategic counsel on external events and issues management.
  • Monitor government, regulatory, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks, and develop high-level reports and briefings for executive leadership teams.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and managing teams.
  • Ability to liaise confidently with government and ministerial offices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
