Systems Technician

We are seeking an experienced Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT and technical systems, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line support for ICT and technical systems used in surveillance operations
  • Perform basic system administration tasks on Red Hat Linux platforms
  • Troubleshoot faults and liaise with customers, engineers, and field technicians
  • Document maintenance activities and system faults in line with engineering protocols
  • Support engineering upgrades, investigations, and system health monitoring
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or higher in Electronics, Telecommunications, or IT – or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven expertise in one or more of the following: Radar, RF systems, Telecommunications, ICT or Systems Administration
  • Practical experience with Red Hat Linux and network troubleshooting (switching & routing)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
  • Strong customer service focus and fault resolution skills
