We are Koclare Pty Ltd, a renowned Japanese ramen bar in Paddington. Our expanding business seeks an accomplished and dynamic Restaurant Manager to drive our success.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary range of $73,150 - $80,000 plus superannuation for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create menus that cater to seasonal market demands, working closely with managers.
  • Develop and maintain popular Japanese traditional style meals, introducing new specials based on customer preferences.
  • Purchasing raw materials within budget and pricing menu items and meals accordingly.
  • Oversee stock management systems, including internal and external transfers, compiling reports, and statistical analysis for directors.
  • Ensure kitchen facilities and dining areas meet health requirements, maintaining orderliness of chairs and desks.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with food and service, recording frequent questions and popular meals to maximize satisfaction.
  • Hire and train kitchen and floor staff in conjunction with directors, developing an employee handbook addressing onsite issues.
  • Maintain Standard Operation Procedures, develop training programs, and schedule assessments for junior management and staff.
Requirements
  • An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma is required; alternatively, at least three years of relevant experience may substitute formal qualifications.
  • A minimum of two years' relevant experience is necessary.
