About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Healthcare Staffing. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping clients enhance their communication abilities and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Personalized Therapy Plans: Create individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Educate and Support Clients: Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and techniques, and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution, and valid registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in relevant assessment and therapy tools.
