Teaching Position in Mathematics

This is a permanent full-time role commencing Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12.

The position involves instructing students in the Mathematics program and incorporating current and emerging technologies to meet student needs based on evidence-based practice.

We seek a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic teacher who can establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment and apply differentiated instruction and explicit teaching.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and have high expectations, a commitment to excellence and use a range of pedagogies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting
