Senior Security Governance Leader

This leadership role focuses on driving a risk-based approach to security governance and compliance across multiple engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective data protection strategies, ensuring efficient access management, streamlined audit processes, and proactive security controls.

About the Role
  • Lead two critical high-performing engineering teams: Security Governance & Data Protection.
  • Develop and implement Continuous Assurance capabilities, automating security controls to support ISO, SOC2, and other regulatory attestations.
  • Oversee Identity Management Engine, ensuring it meets business needs while enabling self-service access control for teams.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement DLP (Data Loss Prevention) controls to protect sensitive data across environments; expand identity governance capabilities, ensure scalable and efficient user access reviews, provisioning, and entitlements management across AWS and GCP.
  2. Collaborate with SASE program team to integrate data security policies into cloud and network security architecture.
  3. Work closely with internal stakeholders to align security governance, compliance, and business objectives; streamline audit processes, reducing manual effort required for security certifications.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of people leadership, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
  • Strong expertise in Security Governance, Identity Governance, Compliance Automation, and Data Protection.
  • Experience implementing and managing Identity Governance solutions (e.g., user access reviews, provisioning automation).
  • Experience leading Data Protection initiatives, including DLP implementations in cloud and hybrid environments.
