In this teaching-focused position, you will deliver teaching and research in Tourism and lead the Newcastle Business School's Career Ready Graduates strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering high-quality teaching in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Leading the Career Ready Graduates strategy, developing placement courses, industry engagement models, and integrating career readiness into the curriculum.
- Building industry connections to support innovative research, knowledge exchange, work-integrated learning, and graduate employment opportunities.
- Engaging in collaborative, interdisciplinary research that can impact the tourism field.
- Co-supervising PhD students and contributing to the academic community through service and leadership.
This continuing full-time position is primarily based at the City Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land), with the opportunity to work at other locations as required.

About YouWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual with a PhD in Tourism or a related area. You will have a proven track record in leadership in the Career Ready Graduates area, including development of Career Ready Placement courses and models, and engagement with industry. You will also have the ability and willingness to teach in the first-year core course in management.
