About this Role

We are seeking dedicated support workers to provide high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in our community.

As a support worker, you will play a vital role in assisting older adults to maintain their independence and live with dignity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Supporting clients with social and community engagement
  • Administering medication as required (if trained and qualified)
  • Providing transport for medical appointments and activities
  • Encouraging and promoting independence, choice, and well-being
  • Implementing personalized care and support plans
Requirements

A genuine passion for supporting older adults is essential. You will also need:

  • Relevant certification or qualification in aged care or individual support
  • Experience in aged care or community support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
