Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Leader to join our team in a well-established and respected not-for-profit aged care provider.

Job Description

This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to take on a blend of clinical responsibility and team leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of person-centred care, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

  • Conduct baseline and focused assessments using a Positive Wellbeing Model
  • Develop and evaluate evidence-based care plans in consultation with residents and care teams
  • Monitor health outcomes and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Accurately document care in accordance with electronic systems and legislation
  • Liaise with internal and external healthcare professionals to coordinate care

As a leader in this role, you will provide guidance and support to care teams, foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and clinical excellence, and ensure policy and compliance requirements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, clinical judgment, and team leadership skills, as well as experience in aged care or similar clinical settings.

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification and driver's licence
  • Experience in managing staff, students or volunteers in a clinical setting
  • Competency in electronic documentation and Microsoft Office suite
  • Full working rights (no sponsorship is offered)
