The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly, Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. This role will see you assemble, maintain and repair various types of construction and mining equipment to customer specifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling and testing new equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing existing equipment
  • Conducting failure analysis and identifying specific modes of failure
  • Preparing and testing pre-delivery inspections
  • Ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner
  • Completing and submitting relevant paperwork and reports
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant Mechanical Trade qualification - Commercial Vehicle trades will also be considered
  • Previous experience with the assembly, overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment
  • High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) would be highly regarded
  • A safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work
