About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Designer to join our team in Northern Australia, Transport Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and assistance in the delivery of projects from concept stage through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake project work, including preparation of documentation for proposals, reports, and business documentation.
  • Provide technical review, input, and support for proposal and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement efficient documentation strategies and frameworks to improve the efficiency of design and documentation for major transport infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee and facilitate knowledge sharing, including mentoring junior team members.
  • Ensure project design and documentation complies with client design and drafting standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in Civil Engineering and a passion for efficient documentation delivery.
  • Demonstrated history delivering drawings for transport infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and its integration with 12D.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with and inspire others.
  • Assist junior drafters within the team by mentoring, training, and checking their work as required.
