About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Our team provides support to individuals in their homes and in the community, helping them to achieve their goals and live their best lives. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each person we support.
In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their strengths, interests, and aspirations. You will provide support with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal planning, and household management. You will also facilitate community connections by socialising and going on outings.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their NDIS goals
- Providing assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal planning, and household management
- Facilitating community connections through socialising and outings
- Working collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality services
Requirements for Success
- A passion for working in disability services and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy
- Good computer skills and experience using software applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
