**Job Description**

The Senior Engineering Director will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technical strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Technical Strategy & Product Development: Define and manage the company's 'Technical Roadmap' in collaboration with Business Development to maintain a superior product portfolio.
  • Program & Risk Management: Ensure engineering programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications, implementing robust risk management strategies.
  • Business Development & Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary technical interface for key customers, providing expert consultation and ensuring alignment with their needs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced engineering leader with a proven track record of driving innovation, technical excellence, and operational efficiency in complex engineering environments.

They will possess:

  • Technical & Industry Expertise: A strong background in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, with extensive experience in the design and development of high-performance propulsion systems or related technologies.
