Chief Cybersecurity Architect

We're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Security Engineer to join our team, who will investigate complex security and engineering issues, conduct response and remediation efforts, and monitor for emerging vulnerabilities.
This role involves:
- Investigating small to large-scale security and engineering issues to determine risk, impact, and recovery solutions
- Conducting response and remediation efforts across complex systems and data sets
- Examining systems and applications to understand current security posture
- Advocating for best security practices and engineering solutions to meet them
- Security monitoring and response during business hours
- Project work across various efforts to enhance platform security
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Applicable experience in a security role implementing and supporting production systems and teams
- Experience in cloud engineering, incident response, preferably in roles focusing on SaaS platforms and large data sets
- Experience with Linux and/or other Unix-like variants
- Scripting capabilities in shell, Python, Ruby, or another automation system
- Protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, applied cryptography, others
- Familiarity with IDS and SIEM systems such as Bro, Suricata, Splunk, Elk stack, LogScale, others
- Experience supporting production systems in hybrid environments
Prior experience with technical security certifications or academic backgrounds, as well as experience working with developers on security vulnerability impact and remediation efforts, would be beneficial.
