Traffic Management Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Planner to develop and implement effective traffic management plans in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures, and relevant Standards. This is a full-time position working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive traffic management plans that ensure all worksites operate safely and efficiently;
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards during plan development;
  • Consult with relevant stakeholders, including clients, on-road staff, main roads authorities, local councils, emergency services, and buses, to ensure seamless communication and coordination;
  • Implement plans and communicate operational requirements to the team effectively.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in traffic management planning - AWTM;
  • Current Driver's Licence and White Card;
  • Experience with AutoCAD software for design and implementation of traffic management plans;
  • An in-depth understanding of Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (AGTTM) & MRWA C.O.P;
  • Minimum of 1 year Traffic Planning experience; qualifications will be highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer service focus;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks;
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities;
  • Sound administrative skills and computer literacy.

This role requires travel locally to various work sites.
