Mental Health Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide critical psychiatric services in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual and group diagnostic assessments and referrals for patients with mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a clinical treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in policy development, marketing, data collection, peer review, supervision, and training initiatives.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work or Counseling.
- Current licensure as a qualified professional, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of three years' experience in behavioral health clinical settings.
- Two years' experience providing intensive outpatient care is preferred.
- Familiarity with DSM-V and Cognitive/Behavioral Group Therapy techniques.
- Experience with diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis interventions.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems and documentation practices is desirable.
- A sedentary work environment.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- A competitive salary range from $30.60-$45.90 per hour.
