The Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in defining the technological foundation and strategic development of broadcast television solutions. This key position focuses solely on high-level architectural design and innovation, ensuring the technology stack is scalable, resilient, and capable of supporting complex needs of modern broadcasting operations.

The Solutions Architect will architect and evolve end-to-end broadcast solutions from content ingest to playout and distribution, ensuring seamless integration across legacy and modern systems. They will lead the transition from traditional SDI-based infrastructure to IP-based, cloud-based architectures, leveraging technologies such as AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.

The Solutions Architect will define and enforce best practices and architectural standards that support automation, scalability, and high availability in broadcast operations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software-defined solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Determine technology roadmaps for broadcast television solutions
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solution quality and reliability

The Solutions Architect will have strong understanding of broadcast signal chains, media workflows, and playout systems. They will have demonstrated expertise in public cloud platforms, including experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless architectures. The Solutions Architect will have solid background in software development and deployment, with proficiency in modern development practices such as version control and automated delivery pipelines.

The Solutions Architect will have strong focus on software quality, with a deep understanding of both functional and non-functional testing. They will have collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality, resilient, and maintainable solutions.

The Solutions Architect will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to guide teams through technical transformations.
