Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Casualty Treaty Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in treaty underwriting, with a strong background in pricing, portfolio analysis, and contract negotiation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, structuring deals, and managing files effectively. They will also work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and support the growth of our Casualty plans.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and brokers, while also staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities and develop structured solutions for clients
  • Manage underwriting aspects of the treaty value chain, including pricing, client interactions, and internal processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and support the growth of our Casualty plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in treaty underwriting
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of casualty insurance products and markets
  • Experience with industry-standard software and tools
