Healthcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Ipswich, Queensland. This is an exceptional opportunity for a healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact on health outcomes in Aboriginal Health.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary care environment with access to in-house support from specialists and allied health professionals. Our clinic prioritizes early detection and management of health conditions, promoting a holistic approach to health and contributing to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality primary health care services to patients
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff and Aboriginal health workers to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA and the Australian Medical Board (unrestricted)
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Medicare provider number
  • Current Insurance Indemnity
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes
  • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities
