About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about maintaining high-quality facilities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, repairs, and cleaning duties for furniture, fittings, and equipment. They will also assist with preventative assessments and maintenance on gaming and other equipment, as well as maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms and other facilities department spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Assisting with preventative assessments and maintenance on gaming and other equipment
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms and other facilities department spaces
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in technical or industrial maintenance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays as required)
