We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ecologist to contribute to our national Ecology team. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in supporting field work, assessments, reporting, and project management with flexibility in working arrangements and travel.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an ecologist and strong ecological survey, reporting, and assessment capabilities. You will have a passion for field work and a drive to deliver high-quality outcomes. We offer technical growth, flexible working arrangements, and a collaborative team culture.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You will be responsible for managing medium and large-scale projects, including planning surveys and coordinating field teams.
  • Strong stakeholder relationships with clients, government agencies, and team members are essential for this role.
  • Prior knowledge of the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) is highly regarded.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology, or related field
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
