This key role plays a crucial part in maintaining and optimising finance systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting for all stakeholders. Combining business acumen with technical expertise, you will drive business solutions, provide insights through financial reporting and analysis, and lead a team of analysts to deliver high-quality financial reports.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage finance systems, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver financial reports meeting business requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure smooth migration of data into centralised systems for enhanced reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Support business units with financial systems, providing user support and resolving any system-related issues.

About You

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in finance, accounting, or business analysis with a strong understanding of ERP/Accounting packages.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and driving performance within a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, including Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Strong communicator, capable of collaborating across departments and providing clear guidance on technical finance matters.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset, especially within finance systems and reporting processes.
