Exciting Opportunity in Neurorehabilitation

Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Neurorehabilitation Consultant to join their dedicated rehabilitation team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist rehabilitation care services to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert rehabilitation care services to patients with neurorehabilitation needs
  • Lead and develop the rehabilitation team, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct procedural botulinum toxin clinics for spasticity
  • Oversee the accredited rehabilitation registrar training program
Requirements
  • Registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
  • Experience in neurorehabilitation and complex care
