Job Title: Senior Securitisation Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing securitisation transactions for our clients in Australia. This role requires a deep understanding of structured finance techniques, securitisation rating agency criteria and debt capital markets distribution strategies.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on complex financial deals that have a significant impact on our clients' businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in structured deal execution and a solid understanding of securitisation legal documentation and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in the origination and execution of warehouse and term ABS transactions for ANZ clients in Australia.
  • Maintain and monitor securitisation facilities, ensuring compliance with facility terms, conditions and credit approvals.
  • Develop an understanding of quantitative analysis (collateral pools & cashflow modelling) to ensure existing and new transactions are modelled in accordance with facility terms and rating agency criteria.
  • Ensure all transaction risks have been assessed and mitigants established in accordance with Securitisation Policies and Procedures.
  • Prepare credit submissions for securitisation facilities in a timely manner, consulting necessary stakeholders through the submission process.
  • Collaborate with the SCM FO Support team to ensure all client activity is understood and monitored appropriately.

Requirements:
  • Comply with ANZ Values, Code of Conduct and all relevant ANZ policies.
  • An understanding of structured finance techniques, securitisation rating agency criteria and debt capital markets distribution strategies.
  • Experience with relationship or client management.
  • Securitisation modelling skills including transaction structure for qualitative analysis of collateral pools.
  • A track record in structured deal execution.
  • An understanding of securitisation legal documentation and ability to negotiate with different stakeholders.
  • Transactional and credit risk experience in the Australian securitisation market with a particular focus on residential mortgages, auto & equipment receivables.
  • An understanding of securitisation derivatives (including interest rate and cross currency swaps).
  • An understanding of accounting principles and credit risk assessment fundamentals.
  • An understanding of banking and securitisation regulations which impact ANZ's ability to deliver SCM objectives.
  • Good organiser including competent time management skills and ability to work across multiple transactions and deal teams concurrently.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Accounting, legal or business related tertiary qualifications.
