Role Responsibilities
The Direct Care Worker (Residential) plays a vital role in assisting residents with daily living activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assisting with toileting and continence management.
- Supporting residents during mealtimes and ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Facilitating mobility through safe transferring and lifting techniques, including the use of mechanical aids.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the work area and ensuring personal belongings are cared for.
- Contributing to resident assessments and documenting observations in line with established protocols.
- Identifying and addressing the recreational and therapeutic needs of residents.
Eligibility Criteria
