Cargo Screening Officer - Melbourne

We are seeking security-focused individuals to work across multiple sites in Melbourne as Cargo Screening Officers. This role offers a new pathway to becoming a Freight Aviation Protection Officer, with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets.
  • Manage the flow of goods and services through our facilities.
  • FOLLOW PROCESS CONTROL DOCUMENTATION, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment.


Requirements:
  • Willingness to commit to complete company-provided training to gain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) or currently hold this certificate.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments, including an Ishihara test.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance within the past 10 years), which ISS will pay for.
  • A VIC Security License is highly desired.
  • Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have your own reliable vehicle.
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.
