Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in early childhood education, while making a meaningful contribution to the lives of young children.

You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.

As a Trainee Educator, you will work closely with experienced educators and other support staff to deliver high-quality programs and services.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and colleagues
  • Implement Goodstart's quality framework to ensure high-quality programs and services
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • No previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years
  • Completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare
  • Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
