Job Title: Storage Infrastructure ExpertAbout the Opportunity:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in zSeries storage management and engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, building and supporting the zSeries Storage hardware and software infrastructure.

  • Perform technical project management roles for large zSeries infrastructure deployment and evergreening projects to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual interventions in the storage infrastructure and enhance overall performance.
  • Test new software and exploit its functionality to stay ahead of industry trends and requirements.
  • Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity to minimize risks and optimize resources.
  • Manage risk and cost effectively to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure service quality targets are met for offered platform services through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure best value for the organization.
  • Design, configure, test, implement and support zSeries storage hardware and software solutions to meet business demands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in zSeries storage management and engineering, with experience working with vendors such as IBM, Dell and Broadcom. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.
