About the RoleAs an EMR tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic medical record systems. Your responsibilities will include executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless system functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and user stories.
- Testing and Defect Identification: Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and identify defects using a bug tracking system.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Agile Methodologies: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an EMR tester or in a similar QA role within the healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of EMR systems and healthcare workflows.
- Experience with various testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with specific EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
