At Monadelphous, we're committed to delivering exceptional results on our large-scale multidisciplinary projects. As a Lead Planner, you'll play a critical role in our Pre-Contracts team, working on a permanent full-time basis in our Perth Office. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing detailed execution schedules based on project scope, outlining schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment, and critical path information.
  • Monitoring and updating key dates and sequencing of the schedule.
  • Developing and managing schedules deliverables, including resource histograms, equipment histograms, procurement plans, quantity curves, and bedding forecasts.
  • Reviewing planning and scheduling documentation to identify ambiguities, risks, and key issues for the project execution team.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the project.
  • Implementing appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems to meet project needs.
  • Collaborating with a team to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring project, engineering, and procurement planning and scheduling information is available to support construction needs.
  • Preparing planning/scheduling/cost control information for dissemination to other stakeholders.
  • Establishing client relationships and communicating effectively with site personnel.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience with resources-related multi-discipline scopes and a commitment to a site-based role.
  • Previous experience using Primavera (P6) project planning tool.
  • Large-scale construction project experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
  • A methodical approach, high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and accuracy in your work.
  • The ability to contribute to and influence continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing delivery methods for your project partners.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas through various media.
