Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor gas production equipment, including compressors, pumps, and storage tanks.
* Ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of gases in line with industry regulations and company standards.
* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
* Assist with the loading and unloading of gas cylinders and bulk deliveries.
* Maintain accurate records of gas production, storage, and distribution activities.
* Respond promptly to any emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.
* Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth plant operations.
* Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and concerns professionally.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification at the level of an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of experience or AQF Certificate IV.
* Proven experience of a minimum of two years in the operator profession.
* Sound knowledge of industrial gas properties, pipeline and vessel installations, P&ID's, regulatory matters, and standards.
* Solid understanding of gas production and distribution processes, including safety protocols.
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining gas production equipment.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Effective problem-solving skills, particularly in emergency situations.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Remuneration:
* Base Salary: $121,000 per annum.
* Remote Area Allowance: $20,400 per annum.
* Superannuation: 11.5% of the base salary.
