Exciting Opportunity for a Passionate Educator

Busy Bees at Montessori Tingalpa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Educator to join their team as an Assistant Director/2IC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to lead and support a team of educators in providing high-quality Montessori education to children aged 15 months to 6 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager in managing daily operations, including staffing, parent communications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to ensure quality practices and outcomes.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Ability to support, mentor, and lead a team of educators.
